It is a type of disposable tableware made from bagasse pulp and bamboo pulp. Bagasse is the fibrous residue left over after sugarcane is juiced. Bamboo is a kind of plant that has a remarkable capacity for rapid regeneration. Though our disposable tableware may look like plastic, it is made from renewable resources and is 100% compostable. It’s an excellent eco-friendly alternative to paper or plastic tableware.

Disposable Bagasse & bamboo tableware are microwave and freezer-safe, withstanding temperatures up to 220°F and as low as -4 degrees, making them suitable for reheating food and storing in the freezer. However, it’s recommended not to use them in extremely hot ovens.

The rate of decomposition for bagasse & bamboo tableware hinges upon the disposal conditions. When relegated to a landfill, the process extends to approximately 40 days due to suboptimal decomposition conditions. Conversely, if our disposable tableware undergoes disposal within a composting facility, a notably accelerated decomposition is observed.

It is also a renewable resource, as it can be grown again after it is harvested. Plastic, on the other hand, is made from petroleum and other fossil fuels. It takes hundreds of years to break down and releases harmful chemicals into the environment when it does. Additionally, plastic cannot be recycled as easily as bagasse.

For these reasons, bagasse is a cheaper and more environmentally friendly option than plastic.
